Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) | Doctoral Researcher in Nutrition
Book with Farhang01About
Farhang Jafari is an Accredited Practising Dietitian who believes good nutrition should work with your life, not take it over.
With more than five years of clinical experience, Farhang helps people feel more confident about food and make realistic, sustainable changes to support their health.
He works with people managing heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and pre-diabetes, as well as those looking for support with weight management or simply wanting to look after their health for the future.
Nutrition built around you
Farhang’s approach starts with listening.
Rather than handing you a list of foods to eat or avoid, he takes the time to understand your health, lifestyle, culture, food preferences and the challenges you face day to day.
Together, you can then build a practical nutrition plan that fits your life and feels achievable.
The aim isn’t perfection. It’s helping you make changes that are realistic enough to become part of everyday life and sustainable enough to make a difference over the long term.
From research to real life
Alongside his clinical work, Farhang is completing a PhD in Nutrition at CQUniversity and has contributed to more than 25 scientific publications.
He also holds a Master of Science in Public Health Nutrition from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Kashan University of Medical Sciences.
Farhang enjoys bringing that research background into the consultation room and turning nutrition science into advice that is clear, useful and relevant to you.
His areas of particular interest include cardiovascular and cardiometabolic health, type 2 diabetes and pre-diabetes, weight management, preventative nutrition and the role of diet in supporting long-term health.
Nutrition, the Nuevo way
At Nuevo Medical, nutrition is part of the bigger picture.
Farhang works closely with GPs, cardiologists and other health professionals, allowing nutrition to become a connected part of your overall healthcare rather than something you have to navigate on your own.
For someone managing cardiovascular disease, for example, nutrition can sit alongside their medical care, pathology results, exercise program and cardiac rehabilitation. For someone looking to reduce their future health risks, the same connected approach can bring together the different parts of preventative care.
Farhang’s role is to help translate that broader clinical picture into practical changes you can make every day.
