Referrals
You can generally book allied health privately without a referral. If a GP referral or care plan is needed for Medicare or another funded pathway, Nuevo can arrange an onsite GP appointment so you can be assessed and, where clinically appropriate, the referral or care plan can be completed.

Allied Health as Part of the Care Plan
At Nuevo Medical, allied health is built into the care plan. Exercise physiology, physiotherapy, dietetics, clinical psychology and speech pathology will all practise in the same building as the GPs and specialists who referred you, working from the same management plan and feeding progress back into it so care continues in step.
